The Borough of Edinboro municipal waste collection is currently contracted to Tri County Industries, Inc.  The current charge for residential collection is $11.25 per month. All refuse bills are sent to residents through their water and sewer bills.  Payments should be made to the Borough of Edinboro and not to Tri County Industries, Inc.  Residents with questions and/or concerns may call the Borough Office at 734-1812 or Tri County Industries, Inc. at 1-800-457-8202.

    The Borough is divided into two pick-up zones.  Refuse on the West side of Meadville/Erie Street is picked up every Monday.  All refuse on the East side of Meadville/Erie Street is picked up every Tuesday.  If a major holiday falls on a Monday, pick up will be one day later.  All large appliances are picked up every third week of the month.

SPECIAL BULK PICK-UP

SATURDAY, August 28, 2004 and Saturday, December 18, 2004

A special bulk trash pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, August 28 2004 and Saturday, December 18, 2004.  All trash MUST BE tied or bundled, bagged or boxed and placed at curbside by 5 a.m. The disposal truck will only go down each street once.  Loose trash will be left.

No recycling - no car parts - no construction/demolition items - no tires - no item containing freon - no flammable liquids - no paints or stains in liquid form - no lead acid batteries.

If you are unsure an item is eligible for pick-up, please contact Vicki Coffin, Borough Office at 734 1812.

Normal trash and recycling pickup will resume the following Monday and Tuesday as usual.
