BUILDING PERMIT:
Building Permits are required to construct, enlarge, alter or demolish a structure. This includes new construction, additions, garages, decks, driveways, and sidewalks.RENTAL OCCUPANCY PERMIT:
Rental Occupancy Permits are issued for the purpose of allowing a building to be used for a rental unit. The Borough of Edinboro enforces the 1993 BOCA Property Maintenance Code, and 1993 BOCA National Building Code. All new rentals must be inspected prior to the issuance of an occupancy license.CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY:
A Certificate of Occupancy is required prior to the occupancy or use of any vacant land and/or prior to the use or occupancy of any new structure reconstructed, moved, altered or enlarged.SIGN PERMIT:
Sign Permits are required prior to the erection or alteration of signs.FENCE PERMIT:
A Fence Permit is required to construct or erect a fence.ALTERATION PERMIT:
All alterations to the exterior of a property must have a permit. Examples: new roofing, replacement windows, etc.
