BORROWING PROCEDURES

Library cards are issued without charge and with proper identification to Erie County residents. Temporary cards are also available to Access PA patrons. There is a $2.00 charge to replace lost cards. Patrons may borrow an unlimited number of books. Most items circulate for three weeks and may be renewed once for an additional three weeks. Items may be renewed by telephone at 451-6953 during regular hours. Patrons may ask to be placed on a waiting list for items that are checked out. Patrons will be notified by mail when their materials are available. Best Seller loans circulate for two weeks, with no renewel and a $.25/day late fine.

FINES

Materials returned when due are available for other patrons to enjoy. Fines for overdue materials are charged for each day past the date due. The fine for all items is $.10 per day. Lost books, records, etc. are billed at the replacement cost, plus service charge.

BOOK DONATIONS

The Edinboro Branch is grateful to receive gift books and memorial donations. Please ask about our memorial book program.

• Reference materials available
• Interlibrary loan.
• 16 mm films and VHS videocassette from the District Film Center.
• Photocopying machine with reduction/enlargement 10 cents per page.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

• Books on tape and CD's abridged and unabridged.
• Large print books.
• Children's books, tapes and CD -Roms
